This tenugui is a softer and thicker cloth than the regular type of tenugui and might not be suitable as a door curtain because only one side is dyed. Its texture is like very thick and solid gauze if described, so it is suitable for tapestry/banner, cover, towel and making baby goods.
*Care*
Hand-wash and dry in shade. Please use the laundry net on Machine-washing. Ironing is recommended. Tenugui is easy to dry and hard to shrink.
Don't bleach nor leave in water. Colors may fade.
Since both edges of the fabric are not stitched, they will become loose and frayed. But cut the excess string and the fraying will stop and become the fringe after use for a while.
